Healthy outcomes start with positive patient experiences. 40 Hours per week / 5 Days Per week / Monday to Friday £16.32 per hour any enhancements. Location is Wythenshawe Hospital, Southmoor Road, Wythenshawe.
As Maintenance Plumber at Sodexo, you will be the go-to person, the one with the answers to everyone's questions, and the one who knows how to keep the facilities operating smoothly. You will be the specialist who will provide technical advice and support for the maintenance of equipment, building fabric, and utility services across the Wythenshawe Hospital estate.
What You’ll Do:
- Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of all plant and equipment within the hospital estate, carrying out a range of repairs and new works to a high standard.
- Responsible for the service, installation, maintenance, and testing of complex systems.
- Comply with all Company and Client policies and procedures, and statutory regulations, including health and safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire, COSHH.
- Actively champion a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
What You Bring:
- Experience repairing plant and equipment, as well as the ability to fault find, read drawings, diagnose, and repair equipment using your technical knowledge.
- NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent and have Building services Knowledge.
- Ability to keep work pace and meet deadlines, along with good organisation skills.
- Great communication skills, strong teamwork, and a positive attitude.
- Capable of working as part of a team or unsupervised, and of remaining calm under pressure.
