We are recruiting for a 12‑month Locum ENT Consultant (Otology with General ENT) at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a senior ENT clinician you will provide outpatient services across the full range of ENT patient cohorts, from two‑week wait assessments to routine appointments. You will bring knowledge and practical surgical experience in treating patients with head and neck, otology and rhinology conditions, contribute to the out‑of‑hours on‑call rota, and help train and mentor junior doctors.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient ENT services to a diverse patient population, including two‑week wait, urgent, and routine cases.
  • Deliver and support surgical care for head and neck, otology and rhinology patients.
  • Participate in the out‑of‑hours on‑call rota.
  • Engage in training and education activities for middle and junior grade doctors.

Qualifications

  • Qualified ENT consultant with demonstrable experience in head and neck, otology and rhinology.
  • Evidence of surgical experience and clinical competence across the ENT spectrum.
  • Strong communication and teaching skills.
