HR Business Partner based in Manchester supporting schools across Greater Manchester. £34,000 – £39,000 (dependent on experience) Permanent, full‑time 35 hours per week with flexible working patterns. 30 days holidays plus Bank Holidays; office closure at Christmas. Flexible, hybrid working post‑probation. Free onsite parking at One Education offices.
Responsibilities
- Provide advice and practical support to schools and academies on a range of people management matters: staff conduct, attendance, grievance, capability, terms & conditions, contracts, restructures and all HR matters.
- Deliver bespoke training and guidance to schools on: Equality & Diversity, Wellbeing, Mediation, Policy review, Job Evaluation, GDPR, Governance and safeguarding.
- Advise and support schools on emergencies and critical incidents.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to juggle roles of investigator, advisor, advocate, conciliator and manager.
- Experience managing a busy caseload.
- Qualified Level 2 in maths and English.
- Experience working in a busy HR environment.
- CIPD qualification desirable.
Other Requirements
- Full driving licence and access to own vehicle for travel within Greater Manchester.
