HR Advisor (Band 5) to join our busy HR Business Partner team. The role provides an excellent opportunity to develop and expand your HR skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the HR Business Partner and the wider HR team in providing high‑quality strategic and operational people management support to ensure best practice people management.
  • Support the Workforce Business Partner in delivering a high‑quality, professional, proactive and efficient workforce service to the Workforce & OD Directorate, Divisions and other Corporate Directorates, applying Trust policies, procedures, employment legislation and flexible approaches.
  • Support the Workforce Business Partner in delivering an effective employee relations service, policy implementation and governance for the CLINICAL GROUP Workforce team.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of processes and procedures that ensure consistent application of Trust policies.
  • Manage employment relations matters for medical and non‑medical staff, providing a professional service that meets all legislative and policy requirements.
  • Support the delivery of the overall Workforce Strategy through corporate project work as requested.
  • Liaise with other workforce colleagues to maintain effective communication links, share best practice, and facilitate cross‑cover of HR services.
  • Work in a manner consistent with the NHS Management Code of Conduct and the CIPD Code of Professional Conduct.

Qualifications and Experience

The Band 5 HR Advisor role requires relevant experience and qualifications in line with Band 5 standards. Refer to the Job Description & Person Specification attachments under the "Supporting Documents" heading for detailed requirements.
