We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Housekeeper to join our team on Critical Care at North Manchester General Hospital. This role works closely with nursing and domestic staff to ensure a safe, clean, and organised clinical department.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all medical equipment is clean and well maintained.
- Maintain high cleaning standards in coordination with domestic supervisors and staff.
- Assist during meal times, serving breakfast and lunches, and order patient food.
- Ensure the ward has adequate equipment and stock.
- Report estates work and request portering services as needed.
- Assist the team with continuous quality improvement through ward audits.
- Keep ward information boards up to date.
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants should have experience or a willingness to learn house‑keeping duties within a clinical setting, strong attention to detail, ability to maintain clean environments, and capability to perform basic equipment checks and reporting.
