We are seeking enthusiastic Health Visitors to join our dynamic, diverse, and supportive team. You must be a registered Health Visitor (SCPHN – Health Visiting) with current NMC registration.
Key Responsibilities- Provide early years support and health visiting services to families in Manchester, making a real difference to families’ lives.
- Work flexibly within the team, collaborating with other children’s services colleagues to deliver innovative, integrated family support.
- Travel independently across the locality to visit families and attend local sites, as required.
- Maintain professional practice in accordance with contemporary policy documents relating to Children’s Services and the Public Health Agenda, including the Health Visitor Implementation Plan.
- Participate in induction, preceptorship, and regular supervision arrangements to support professional development.
- Registered Health Visitor with current NMC registration.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Strong work ethic, ability to work independently and using own initiative.
- Computer literacy and proficiency with clinical information systems.
- Access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes and ability to travel independently.
- Flexibility to work within core service hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm) and, when required, at other locations to ensure equitable service delivery.
