Hazardous Area Response Team Specialist Paramedic Band 7 (unsocial payment). Manchester HART Hazardous Area Response Teams (HART) are staff recruited specifically to operate within the inner cordon or in hazardous environments. An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right individual to undertake a clinical leadership role within a team of 6 HART Paramedics. The successful candidate must be a HCPC Registered Paramedic with current relevant HART qualifications and demonstrable experience in operational and supervisory/managerial environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Promote and maintain a high level of clinical competence within the HART team.
- Conduct clinical observation shifts, clinical audits and lead the clinical aspect of training.
- Take the clinical lead at incidents and perform enhanced clinical skills in hazardous environments.
Required knowledge and skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of CBRN/HAZMAT, Urban Search and Rescue (USaR), Response to Water Incidents, Tactical Medicine and Major Incidents.
- Excellent clinical competency, leadership, motivational and organisational skills.
