About this job: Luther King is a Theological College, bed and breakfast and conference centre in Rusholme.

Job Summary: To work alongside our other general maintenance person to cover reactive and scheduled maintenance on a daily basis in hotel bedrooms, meeting rooms, public areas and offices. There may be times that working off site is required.

Main duties will include:

  • Basic plumbing
  • Electrical and joinery work
  • Painting and decorating
  • Garden maintenance
  • Compliance checks
  • Cleaning
  • Assisting in a variety of reasonable tasks as directed by the Operations Manager

Personal Qualities:

  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to prioritise own workload

Although this role is not directly ‘public-facing,’ the successful applicant will need to respond in an appropriate manner to residents and guests.

Valid driving licence would be preferred.
