Acorn by Synergie is searching for a Field Service Engineer to cover the Manchester, Stafford and Stoke area for our client, a leading supplier of machinery to the printing industry. The purpose of the role is to provide first-line support to customers using advanced printing equipment, ensuring service levels are met and helping customers achieve the best printing quality.

Key Duties

  • Carry out interventions, scheduled and preventative maintenance at customer sites to ensure machine efficiency.
  • Provide telephone support on machinery, finishing equipment, and workflow.
  • Conduct site surveys in preparation for machine installations.
  • Install machines and ensure full acceptance of production lines with support from the HQ installation team.

Requirements

  • Previous field service experience, ideally in electronics, electrical, or printing and graphics.
  • Practical knowledge of IT hardware and software.
  • Flexible, proactive, and team-oriented with a structured approach to work.
