A supportive and nurturing alternative provision in Manchester City Centre is seeking a dedicated EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a specialist setting, supporting young children with additional needs at a crucial stage in their development.
The Role
- Support pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage with a range of additional needs.
- Work closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging, play‑based learning while providing tailored support to help each child develop socially, emotionally, and academically.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for EYFS pupils with SEN.
- Assist in delivering creative, play‑based learning activities.
- Support children with needs such as ASD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH.
- Help promote communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation.
- Adapt activities to meet individual learning needs.
