Join us as an Employment Law & HR Officer. This is an opportunity to build on your existing experience of employment law or HR in a supportive and collaborative environment. You’ll be delivering employment law and HR support and advice to our clients. This could be a major stepping stone for your future career, as we’ll support your progression with training and qualifications. We're offering between £30,855.00 and £36,300.00 for this role.

What you'll do:

  • Provide employment law and HR advice and guidance.
  • Identify opportunities to meet the needs of your client through bespoke services.
  • Generate referrals for additional consultancy and training services, generating income through cross sales.
  • Deliver legally compliant and commercial HR and employment law advice primarily by telephone, with some email and webchat.
  • Provide prompt assistance and complete your work in a timely manner.
  • Keep accurate records of the advice you've given.

The skills you’ll need:

  • Experience in a HR or employment law role providing advice to line managers or supporting on employee relations processes such as disciplinaries and grievances.
  • A qualification in employment law or HR would be an advantage, although this is not essential, as we’ll support you to obtain this while in your role.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the ACAS code of practice on disciplinary and grievance procedures.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and build rapport over the telephone with clients from multiple sectors and at different levels of the business.
  • High standards of attention to detail.
  • Good research skills.
