We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Employer Engagement Leader, who can provide links to employers and work in partnership with stakeholders to create events and activities for offenders in custody to help them prepare for work on release. The job involves networking with employers and organising employment events and activities that are linked to local and nationwide employment opportunities across a number of prison sites within the Greater Manchester area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to people and communities.

You’ll need to have:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience of working with employers in the context of seeking opportunities for people facing multiple barriers
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written

We are especially looking for applicants who have experience of managing teams who help offenders or other vulnerable groups to move forward in their lives. If you’re someone who can really connect with people to help them to progress, work in a prison environment, embrace the quality and compliance requirements of the contract and have the skills to work towards individual targets, we’d love to hear from you.
