The team acts for a wide range of insurer and corporate clients, delivering end‑to‑end dispute resolution across credit hire and motor claims. Your new role: You will manage your own caseload of litigated credit hire and vehicle damage claims, working within a high‑performing team focused on delivering strong outcomes for insurer clients.
Responsibilities- Handling a caseload of mixed‑value litigated credit hire and motor damage matters (small claims through to multi‑track)
- Managing claims proactively from instruction through to resolution
- Reviewing liability, indemnity and associated losses (including PI and diminution claims)
- Delivering high-quality legal advice in line with client service standards and commercial expectations
- Identifying and managing risk, compliance and procedural issues
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and maintaining strong relationships
- Supporting wider team performance, knowledge sharing and collaboration
- Contributing to business development and client initiatives
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years recent credit hire experience (within the last 5 years)
- Experience handling litigated motor claims, ideally with exposure to credit hire
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and meet performance targets
- Strong analytical skills and ability to assess evidence and develop legal arguments
- Good understanding of litigation procedures and court processes
- Commercial awareness and focus on client outcomes
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
