About this job
Your new company is a well-respected defendant firm currently recruiting for qualified solicitors to join as either a Credit Hire Associate or Credit Hire Supervisor, dependent on level of experience. These roles are to be based in either Manchester or Birmingham and hybrid working is available.
Responsibilities
- As a Credit Hire Associate, you will:
- Manage a personal caseload of litigated credit hire claims.
- Draft pleadings, witness statements, and other legal documentation.
- Conduct negotiations and attend hearings where required.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide clear, strategic advice.
- Supervise and mentor a team of litigators handling credit hire claims.
- Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with best practices.
- Monitor team performance and support professional development.
- Handle a personal caseload of complex and high-value credit hire matters.
Qualifications
- UK Qualified Solicitor (NQ)
- For Associate: Strong background in credit hire litigation and case management.
- For Supervisor: Proven experience in team leadership and handling complex credit hire claims.
- Excellent knowledge of civil procedure and litigation processes.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
Benefits
These are both great opportunities for credit hire solicitors where you can expect a full caseload and supervisory responsibilities. A very competitive salary is available and negotiable dependent on experience. Applicants can expect to be based out of either Manchester or Birmingham and will be determined by the nearest suitable office. Hybrid working is available.
