Role Overview: As Corporate Tax Compliance & Reporting Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting group‑wide corporate tax compliance, reporting and governance obligations across the UK and selected overseas jurisdictions. Working closely with the Tax and wider finance team, you'll be involved in both routine compliance cycles and ad‑hoc technical projects, gaining exposure to a broad range of corporate tax matters within a complex, multi‑entity structure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting quarterly and year‑end corporate tax provisioning
- Preparing and reviewing tax reconciliations, disclosures and supporting schedules
- Assisting with UK corporation tax computations, returns and payment calculations
- Managing UK quarterly instalment payments and tracking tax cash flows
- Supporting overseas tax filings by liaising with local finance teams and external advisors
- Monitoring changes in UK and international tax legislation and assessing impact
- Supporting internal tax controls, risk management and documentation processes
- Assisting with tax‑related projects, restructurings and business queries as required
What you’ll need to succeed:
- A professional tax or accounting qualification (CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent), or be nearing completion
- Solid experience in corporate tax compliance and/or tax reporting, gained in practice or industry
- A good technical understanding of UK corporation tax and tax accounting principles
- Strong Excel skills and confidence handling detailed numerical data
- The ability to manage multiple deadlines in a structured and proactive manner
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience within a multinational, regulated or complex group environment would be advantageous, but is not essential
