Join Alcedo Care as a Complex Care Assistant in Bury, Rochdale and Whitefield. Excellent rates of pay £14.75- £15.75 PLUS Pension PLUS Holiday Pay (equating to a rolled up pay rate of £17.03 to £18.18). Expected average hours - 20 to 40 hours+ per week. Shifts are flexible where possible with opportunities for short shifts or 12-hour day or night shifts. Immediate interviews available and a free DBS check.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred complex care to individuals with complex health needs, including spinal injuries, respiratory conditions, and neurological disorders.
- Support with specialist tasks such as PEG, suction and tracheostomy care, medication administration, mobility, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Provide care that empowers independence and enhances quality of life while maintaining safety and dignity.
- Work with our in-house team of Registered Nurses and training staff for ongoing competency sign-off and development.
- Maintain detailed and accurate care records and communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team.
Qualifications
- At least 3 months of hands-on care experience in a UK care setting or family support.
- A caring nature with a commitment to supporting individuals in their own homes as a Complex Care Assistant.
Training and Development
- Paid training following successful completion of 1 week’s work.
- Access to rising stars development including fully funded NVQs and mentoring.
- Award-winning in-house training team, including Registered Nurses, recognised nationally with the Princess Royal Training Award.
