We’re searching for an incredible Building Safety Assistant to support the Building Safety Manager with essential operational coordination and provide administrative support for Building Safety and Fire Safety Projects and compliance.

What will you do?
- Support the coordination and delivery of cladding remediation projects, including gathering and uploading required documentation to the Building Safety Fund and Cladding Safety Scheme.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of fire compartmentation works and ensure proper documentation.
- Support installation and upgrade of fire safety systems, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, smoke ventilation, and other life‑safety systems.
- Coordinate and assist with fire door inspections, surveys, remedial works ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and updating of Building Safety Case Reports.
- Upload and maintain required compliance documentation on relevant regulatory platforms.
- Provide administrative and operational support for fire safety improvement programmes and remediation projects.
- Coordinate building safety inspections, surveys and compliance checks with internal teams, contractors, and external specialists.
- Act as a point of contact for contractors, arranging access to properties, coordinating repairs and ensuring safety.
- Obtain and review contractor quotations and support procurement processes.
- Respond to and assist in resolving building safety concerns raised by residents, staff, or external stakeholders.
- Assist with reporting safety concerns or compliance issues to authorities such as the local fire and rescue service or the Building Safety Regulator.
- Provide responsive customer service to residents and building users.
- Communicate building safety information clearly through email, letters and formal correspondence.
- Liaise with external partners and regulatory bodies to support building safety compliance.
What we are looking for?
- Experience delivering multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment such as residential or commercial property.
- Experience of residential property management or facility management on a large scale.
- Experience of financial management, budget management, and service charge preparation.
- Experience delivering high levels of customer service and demonstrating good communication skills.
- Experience managing contractors.
- Knowledge of Building Safety, Fire Safety and Health and Safety.
- IT skills.
