Are you passionate about shaping the future of psychological services? Step into a pivotal role at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (GMMH) as our new Associate Director for Psychological Professions within the Rehabilitation, Forensic and Secure Health Care Group (ReFreSH).

What you’ll do:

  • Lead professional psychological practice and uphold the highest standards of quality across Rehabilitation, Forensic, and Secure Health services.
  • Inspire, support, and manage senior psychological practitioners—acting as a motivator and expert resource within the care group.
  • Collaborate with the Care Group Leadership Team and Director for Psychological Professions (CPPO), bringing a trauma-responsive, compassionate, and collaborative approach to leadership.
  • Drive strategic planning, clinical and professional governance, and shape a clear identity and vision for psychological services.
  • Coordinate supervision, training placements, recruitment, professional self-regulation and continuing professional development for psychological staff.
  • Deliver focused clinical input as part of your job plan, attached to a psychological service within ReFreSH Care Group.
  • Deputise for the Director for Psychological Professions (Chief Psychological Professions Officer) when required.
