Role Overview

MFT is one of the biggest NHS Trusts and is looking for an energetic individual to work in the Aseptic Services Unit on the Oxford Road Campus, with the possibility of working across site. The role requires an excellent team player who is professional, organised, communicative and able to deliver high-standard, patient-focused service under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate professionalism.
  • Work using own initiative to meet deadlines and patient needs.
  • Work accurately and methodically in busy Aseptic Services Units.
  • Perform effectively under pressure and maintain an excellent eye for detail.
  • Commit to delivering a high standard in patient-focused service.
  • Prepare Neonatal, Paediatric & Adult PN, Adult & Paediatric Chemotherapy, CIVAS and Clinical Trials across MFT; provide cover at any site within Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust as required.
  • Support the development of aseptic skills and knowledge through a structured personal development programme and participate in an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Manufacturing course for support staff.
