About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Chef de Partie to join our team at Malvern College and contribute to high‑standard catering services for our students.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and cook menu items as directed by the Sous‑Chef or Head Chef.
- Assist in the development and planning of menus, including future food trends and new service concepts.
- Assist with stock taking when required.
- Carry out the smooth and efficient running of your section.
- Work as a team player, assisting other team members when necessary.
- Treat members of the team at the location with the same respect you would expect.
- Demonstrate and instruct Commis Chefs in food preparation and cooking skills as directed by the Sous‑Chef or Head Chef.
- Adhere to the company’s hygiene, health and safety, and environmental policies and procedures at all times.
- Attend all health and safety training courses as required.
- Rigorously follow unit cleaning schedules.
