• the destination you should input is TF3 4LR Job Introduction We're looking for a professional and welcoming Receptionist to be the first point of contact for visitors, contractors, customers and colleagues at our HMRC site.

You'll provide an efficient front-of-house service while supporting visitor management, access control and general workplace services.

You'll also help maintain a safe, secure, clean and professional environment, following all Sodexo and HMRC procedures and security requirements.

What you'll do: Provide a professional and welcoming reception service.

Manage visitors, contractors and access arrangements in line with site procedures.

Issue and manage visitor passes, keys and associated records.

Respond to enquiries by phone, email and in person, providing excellent customer service.

Maintain accurate reception records, documentation and booking systems.

Liaise with HMRC, Sodexo colleagues, security teams, contractors and other stakeholders.

Monitor reception and customer-facing areas to ensure they remain safe, clean and well presented.

Support room setups, porterage, hospitality and workplace service requests as required.

Report maintenance issues, security concerns, incidents and health & safety risks.

Follow all company and client policies, SOPs, COSHH requirements and safe systems of work.

Work flexibly across front-of-house services to support business continuity.

Confident communicating with a wide range of people.

Organised, reliable and able to prioritise in a busy environment.

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Competent using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

Accurate when completing administrative tasks and maintaining records.

Professional, discreet and able to handle confidential information.

Aware of Health & Safety and safe working practices.

Physically able to support room setups, porterage, stock replenishment and cleaning duties.

Flexible and willing to work in a multi-skilled role.

Able to follow company and client procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Desirable Experience in any of the following would be beneficial: Reception, Front of House, Hospitality, Events, Customer Service or Facilities Management.

Visitor management, access control or reception systems.

Corporate, government or public-sector environments.

Meeting, event or hospitality coordination.

Food safety and allergen management.

COSHH and the safe use of cleaning materials and equipment.
