We pride ourselves on safety and quality; we have been awarded gold status in our last three TfW audits.
With our successful growth, we are looking to recruit a PSV Technician to work at our Machynlleth depot with our team of engineers and technicians. The successful candidate will be responsible for the on-going repair and maintenance of our public service buses and coaches, be a good team member and be able to work on a shift pattern rota. Average working week 42 hours with overtime available if required.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the PSV / HGV industry and hold either a City & Guilds or NVQ level 2 or 3 accreditation or equivalent (time served engineers without these qualifications will also be considered). We will also consider any good experienced vehicle technician from any background, e.g., car/van mechanics. A PSV licence would be beneficial but is not essential. It will be a requirement of the role to obtain one. We will provide training if you do not currently have your PSV licence. You must be medically fit to pass the medical required as part of the licence application.
Duties to include:
- Undertaking vehicle maintenance, servicing, monthly inspections and repairs on a varied fleet (including M.O.T. preparation).
- Ensure vehicles are maintained in accordance with the company operators licence guidelines and to the highest standard.
- Have an ability to work to the highest health & safety standards.
A competitive salary will depend on experience for the job.
