We are looking for a confident Senior Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care. You'll be working 42 hours per week, days only (including working alternate weekends). You will support in making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Broughton Lodge.

Shift Pattern: Days (8 am – 8 pm). Week 1: 4 days on, 3 days off. Week 2: 3 days on, 4 days off. Broughton Lodge is a specialist residential service for adults with autism and a learning disability who may present with behaviours that may be of concern. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective environment for those in our care, promoting independence and community integration. On site we have a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) who assist and support us to provide outcome based care and support pathways. Depending on the individual’s level of need, we have 3 different areas within the service offering different levels of support, including support for young men and women leaving an educational provision.

Responsibilities

  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach to all individuals in our care
  • Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support
  • Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way
  • Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required
  • Support management in the day-to-day running of the service
  • Undertake supervisory and administrative responsibilities
