SuperBike Factory is Europe’s largest used motorcycle retailer, with over 3,000 bikes in stock across six UK locations. We’ve recently gone through a transformation: new leadership, better systems, and clearer ways of working. We’re now fully focused on one thing: delivering straightforward, ride-ready bikes to more riders than ever before. We’re putting a lot into developing our people and providing opportunities to progress as you perform. Our new workshop bonus scheme rewards efficiency, giving you the chance to increase your earnings beyond your basic pay. On top of this, we offer progression opportunities, with regular skills assessments and salary alignment to your development.
We’re looking for a Workshop Technician to join our growing team. It’s a hands‑on role where you’ll be working on a wide range of motorcycles, helping get them prepped, repaired and ready for sale. You’ll be carrying out routine maintenance and repairs, diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, and making sure every bike meets roadworthy standards before it reaches a customer. You’ll also complete PDI inspections in line with company standards, working efficiently without cutting corners. Day to day, you’ll be part of a busy workshop where teamwork matters. You’ll be expected to keep your workspace clean and organised, follow health and safety guidelines, and take pride in the quality of your work at every stage of the bike’s journey through the business.
What You’ll Be Doing Day‑to‑Day
- Conduct PDI checks, remedial work, and comprehensive vehicle preparation to meet SuperBike Factory retail standards
- Complete repairs, servicing, and maintenance on motorcycles for internal and external customers, meeting efficiency and accuracy targets
- Provide thorough vehicle evaluations and present findings to customers via report, video, or in person
- Adhere to company repair standards, Health & Safety guidelines, and workshop procedures
- Perform road‑testing assessments on motorcycles, licence permitting
- Maintain clean, organised workstations in line with 5S principles and company housekeeping standards
- Undertake ongoing training and development in line with market updates and new product launches
What We’re Looking For
- Essential: Proven experience working with motorcycles
- Proficiency using hand tools
- Familiarity with diagnostic software (e.g., TEXA)
- Desirable: Full or restricted motorcycle licence
- Motor vehicle or engineering qualifications
Benefits
- Netflix Membership
- Discounted Gym Membership
- Group Life Assurance (4 times salary)
- Staff Discount on bikes and accessories
- Cycle to Work Scheme
- Health & Wellbeing Support (mental health, fitness plans, nutrition advice, 24/7 doctor helpline)
