Our Maxim Department are excited to announce that we are looking for a team member to join the department as a Childcare Assessor. The Role
Macclesfield College has an innovative vision in delivering high quality education to a wide range of learners both in the college and out in the workplace. This post will require the postholder to visit learners out in the workplace and assess their skills against the awarding body criteria. The post holder will be supporting the College learners in achieving their goals and career progression by achieving childcare qualifications and securing future progression within the sector.
Main Duties for this role:
- To deliver high quality assessment both in college and off site, using an appropriate range of methods to facilitate and support learning and achievement.
- To conduct training and assessment with a high level of competence fulfilling all audit requirements.
- To assess accurately individual training needs and to design individual training programmes to achieve planned outcomes within defined timescales in line with College processes and procedures.
- To have good knowledge and awareness of health and safety within the sector and competence in conducting workplace risk assessments.
