Community Meals is a hot meals service provided by North Somerset Council to people within North Somerset who have difficulty in preparing and cooking hot meals.
We are looking to employ a flexible driver who is as passionate about our service as we are. Community Meals drivers are more than a delivery person; they are, in some instances, the only contact our clients have with another person during their day.
As part of the delivery service, you will complete a welfare check, for example ensuring that the person is warm during winter months or has sufficient drinks in warmer weather, reporting any concerns to the Business Support Team.
We deliver our service for 363 days of the year, which includes weekends.
