We are seeking a calm, organised, and approachable individual to join our team as Student Welfare Officer. This key front‐facing role provides first‐line support to students while ensuring their welfare, safety and day‐to‐day needs are met.

Responsibilities

  • You will be the first point of contact for students at reception, provide minor and emergency first aid, and offer vital administrative assistance.
  • The role requires excellent communication skills, sound judgement, and the ability to remain composed in a busy school environment.

Qualifications

  • Current First Aid at Work certificate or willingness to obtain one
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Flexible, adaptable and a team player
  • Good numeracy, literacy and IT skills
  • A caring and confident individual who can manage medical and welfare situations professionally
  • Excellent organisation and administration skills, with attention to detail and an understanding of confidentiality
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure, using good judgement, initiative and common sense in a student‐facing environment
