We are looking for a top‐notch administrator and experienced call handler with a background in handling high‐volume workloads and juggling conflicting demands.

The Single Point of Access Team is part of the Information, Advice and Assistance service which helps members of the public, their families and any professionals supporting them to access the right information at the right time.

Key Responsibilities- Identify the most appropriate next steps for callers.
- Make referrals and/or signpost callers to the right help.
- Respond to queries quickly and accurately.
You will need personal resilience, but we will help you to gain confidence in dealing with challenging situations.
Qualifications & Requirements- Excellent communication in English.
- Ability to converse at ease with customers in Welsh (Welsh language skills are essential).
- Experience with high‐volume call handling and juggling conflicting demands.
- Understanding of social care (preferred but can be learned on the job).
- Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance required.
- Regular supervision from your Team Manager.
- Access to training through the Social Care and Corporate training programmes, in addition to external training if appropriate.
- Working in a purpose‐built office space close to shops, quality food outlets and good coffee.
