This is an exciting opportunity to work with a warm and positive private day-nursery in Manchester, who focus on child engagement with a therapeutic approach. The setting looks after up to 125 children, and both indoor and outdoor areas are split into age-appropriate sections and provide sensory enhancing activities. The nursery ensures children are able to challenge themselves and take risks in a safe and secure environment.
Role and responsibilities
- Support children from ages 6 weeks up to 4 years across all rooms as needed, reporting directly to the Nursery Manager.
- Contribute to a space that supports child engagement with a therapeutic approach and helps children to challenge themselves in a safe environment.
- Work across indoor and outdoor areas in age-appropriate sections.
Qualifications
- Level 3 desirable
- Level 2 required
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- 'Can-do' approach with willingness to get involved
- Adaptability
