Package: Up to c.£46k per annum (depending on experience & inc Shift Allowance)

Are you a time‑served Multi‑skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We have an excellent opportunity to join a successful business where you’ll work on a variety of equipment including power presses, hydraulics, and advanced production machinery. This is a hands‑on role requiring strong electrical and mechanical skills to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults, including PLC systems
  • Maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Supporting continuous improvement and minimising downtime
  • Working collaboratively with production teams to ensure efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Multi‑skilled Maintenance Engineer
  • Completed apprenticeship in Engineering (NVQ Level 3 or similar) - 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
  • PLC knowledge and electrical fault‑finding expertise
  • Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Knowledge of presses, press tooling, rolling machines, laser cutting, spot welders, powder coating, conveyor systems would be advantageous
  • Familiarity with CMM systems and servo drives
