Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers.
- Administer medication as per the care plan (if qualified).
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary preferences and restrictions are followed.
- Engage in companionship and social interaction to promote emotional well-being.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and laundry.
- Document care provided accurately and maintain clear and organized records.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition or needs to the appropriate supervisor.
- Promote independence and encourage clients to engage in activities that enhance their quality of life.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines.
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required for professional development.
- Provide support and guidance to clients' family members as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (relevant certifications preferred).
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is advantageous.
- Empathetic, compassionate, and patient with a genuine desire to make a difference in clients' lives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and reference checks.
