We are looking for General/Line Operatives to join a high performing team, on a variety of manual/automated production lines. In accordance with the company's Health and Safety and Quality standards, to meet planned volume and commercial targets.
Key Accountabilities
- To adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company health, safety and quality regulations.
- Following all Safe Systems of Work and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Understand Customer requirements following packaging specifications.
- To support the maximisation of production efficiency to ensure plan is met on an hourly/daily basis.
- Follow guidance and direction given by your Line leader for the production process.
- To ensure that all areas comply with hygienic audits, both internal and external.
- To ensure GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) are strictly adhered to.
- To assist in the training and development of new starters.
- To act as a role model for best practice, adopting role model behaviours.
- Minimise waste where possible.
- To undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time, that reasonably fall within the scope and grade of the post.
Working within a chilled environment of below 5 Degrees, suitable clothing must be worn. Gloves and overcoat cover provided.
