You will be responsible for managing commercial change processes across the project, specifically handling compensation events linked to design changes under an NEC4 Option C contract. This is a hands-on role requiring strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and the ability to operate within a fast-paced, high-value infrastructure environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, price, and negotiate compensation events relating to design changes
  • Identify and evaluate changes in design scope and their commercial impact
  • Carry out measurement and take-offs of quantities
  • Liaise with Supply chain partners, Design consultants, Internal project teams
  • Prepare and present commercial submissions to the client
  • Lead negotiations to agree final values of change events

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong experience operating under NEC3/NEC4 contracts (Option C essential)
  • Proven background in change management / compensation events
  • Experience on National Grid or major T&D infrastructure projects highly desirable
  • Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills
  • Able to manage multiple stakeholders across complex project environments

  • Role is deemed inside IR35 due to supervision, direction, and control factors
  • Immediate requirement to support additional project capacity
