The Role
We’re seeking a reliable, compassionate Cattery Assistant to join our small, friendly team. This is a hands-on role that involves daily care of cats, maintaining a clean environment, and supporting the smooth running of the cattery.
Key Responsibilities
- Feeding cats according to individual dietary needs
- Cleaning pens, bedding, litter trays, and communal areas
- Monitoring cat health and behaviour, reporting any concerns
- Administering basic medications (training provided)
- Providing enrichment, comfort, and gentle interaction with cats
- Assisting with customer drop offs and collections
- General housekeeping duties around the cattery
About You
- Have a genuine love for cats and confidence handling them
- Are reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Don’t mind physical work and getting your hands dirty
- Have good attention to detail and high hygiene standards
- Are comfortable communicating with customers
- Have previous animal care experience (preferred but not essential)
