About this job:

  • Provide clinical expertise across the board area of community paediatrics.
  • Participate in the development of the service model, supporting colleagues in the establishment of a Multi-Disciplinary Service including Pathway Development.
  • Provide liaison work at all levels with other health staff and community agencies working with children, adolescents and their families.
  • Provide clinical care located where necessary, for instance clinics based in Special Schools and other community locations.
  • Work closely with colleagues in Education, Local Authority and third sector in the delivery of services for children and young people with complex disorders.
  • Work within the team to ensure robust outcome measures.
  • Work closely with all agencies involved in child care and observe the local safeguarding procedures.
