Location: Ty Cwm Gwendraeth, Llannon Road, Upper Tumble, Llanelli SA14 6BU

Shifts: Full time or part time available (based on a Monday to Sunday on a rota) 11hr day shifts 12hr night shifts

Payrate: £14.95 per hour

Social Care Wales: You will have six months from starting the position to register for your SCW pin

We are looking for qualified Health Care Practitioners to join our 49-bed nursing home in Tumble. Our Health Care Practitioners (HCP) are caring and supportive people.

What’s involved as a Health Care Practitioner:

  • You’ll care for people with lots of different complex needs, such as mental health, dementia, challenging behaviours, acquired brain injury and Huntington’s disease.
  • You’ll provide personal care, maintain health needs, hygiene as well as keep things tidy and safe.
  • You’ll take charge of a specified clinical area, e.g., floor or unit, and ensure the area is managed safely and effectively.
  • You will be required to administer medication safely and effectively with the support of a Registered Nurse.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records in relation to the administration of medication and the well-being and welfare of the people who live with us.
