Recruit4staff are representing a well-established fabrication and welding business in their search for a Fabricator Welder to work in Llandrindod Wells.

Job Details

  • Pay: Up to £35,000 - £40,000 per year depending on experience (Overtime paid at 1.5x during the week with some overtime available)
  • Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm, Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm (Days role)
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Benefits: Immediate interviews and weld tests available

Job Role

The successful Fabricator Welder will be working within a busy workshop environment carrying out both heavy and light steel fabrication. The Fabricator Welder will work with structural steel and fabricate components in line with engineering drawings while using a range of workshop machinery and equipment. The Fabricator Welder will also carry out manual handling duties and ensure all work meets required standards.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • Previous experience working as a Fabricator Welder or in a similar fabrication role
  • Experience with both light and heavy steel fabrication
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience working within a fabrication workshop environment

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with structural steel
  • City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in plating or fabrication
