As a member of the communication team, you will develop high-quality, digital-first communications to bring our story to life. You’ll create impactful content, support the development of communication channels and work closely with teams across the organisation to ensure the people of Powys receive clear, inclusive and engaging information.
About you
- Experience in planning and delivering high-quality communications activities across all channels
- Creative ideas, strong writing and storytelling skills
- Ability to manage the production of a variety of campaign assets using digital tools
- A strong collaborator with excellent relationship and time management skills
- Ability to juggle multiple projects, priorities and meet deadlines
- Be proactive, with an appetite to learn, grow and succeed
What you will do
- Create engaging multi-media content for a variety of channels to reach different audiences
- Tell stories that showcase our services and the outcomes for communities
- Plan and deliver comms plans and activities aligned to council priorities
- Use evaluation methods to ensure we’re meeting the needs of audiences
- Build relationships and work closely with senior leaders and services across the council
- Make sure everything we produce is inclusive and accessible
