An opportunity has arisen for appointment to the role of Training Programme Facilitator: Early Careers Pharmacist, within the School of Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Work across Early Careers and Foundation Pharmacy teams within the North West to support school objectives.
- Represent the North West NHSE region, linking effectively with other regional post holders and reporting to the North West Pharmacy Dean via the Training Programme Director.
- Travel to multiple sites across the region, with occasional travel to other regions and London.
- Provide professional leadership and support for the Head of School.
- Support the national expansion and embedding of pharmacy pathways by working with pharmacy and other key stakeholders across the region.
- Link with the Early Careers and Foundation Pharmacy (trainee pharmacist) teams to meet school objectives.
Qualifications
- Registered pharmacist.
- Prior experience developing and delivering training in clinical environments.
- Sound understanding of community or hospital pharmacy and primary care.
- Experience working as part of a multi-professional team.
- Track record of delivering projects to deadlines.
Employment Terms
- Applicants from within the NHS will be offered a secondment basis only; employer agreement is required before applying.
- Applicants from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
- Staff with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in person.
