A highly respected financial planning firm based in Liverpool City Centre is looking to recruit a Trainee Paraplanner to join its growing team. This position is ideal for an ambitious individual currently working as a Senior Financial Services Administrator, Client Services Administrator, or in a Trainee/Junior Paraplanner role who is looking to progress their career within financial planning. You will receive ongoing support and development, working closely with experienced Advisers and Paraplanners while developing your technical knowledge and progressing your paraplanning career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of suitability reports and recommendation letters
  • Conduct product, provider and fund research
  • Gather and analyse client information
  • Prepare review meeting documentation
  • Liaise with Advisers, clients and product providers
  • Support the paraplanning team with technical administrative duties
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance processes are followed
  • Assist with pension, investment and protection case work

About You

  • Previous experience within a Financial Planning, Wealth Management or Independent Financial Advice environment
  • Experience as a Senior Administrator, Client Services Administrator, Trainee Paraplanner or Junior Paraplanner
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • A desire to build a long-term career within paraplanning and financial planning
  • Progress towards, or an interest in studying towards, Level 4 Diploma qualifications would be beneficial
