- Sun 06:00:00 – 15:00:00
- Tue 12:00:00 – 20:00:00
- Fri 14:00:00 – 23:00:00
Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. We provide a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with flexibility to work fewer hours (minimum 12). We will schedule your contracted hours within the availability windows and provide 3 weeks’ notice of shifts. We support flexibility, so if your available times match closely to the advertised windows we welcome applications.
Responsibilities
- Know your customers and serve them with passion and pride.
- Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas.
- Apply training to work safely, effectively, and serve customers brilliantly.
- Make decisions that are right for customers, delivering routines that meet customer needs.
- Participate in seasonal, community and charity events, creating an inclusive atmosphere.
- Track store performance, understand your role in service and sales, reduce waste, shrink, and deliver profit.
- Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure best condition.
- Live our values, make everyone feel welcome, and follow policies.
- Accept deliveries into the store when required.
- Build rapport with customers, creating a great shopping trip experience.
- Take initiative, make customer‑centric decisions, communicate openly, and build team spirit.
