We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Science Technician to join our dynamic, multi-disciplinary team within the Central Teaching Labs. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality teaching across a range of practical laboratory activities in Physics, Environmental Sciences, or Chemistry.

As a key member of the team, you will support the smooth running of large taught-class environments and help facilitate hands-on learning experiences for students. You will bring with you a BTEC National Level (or equivalent) qualification in a relevant subject, together with proven experience in a similar technical support role. A flexible and collaborative approach to work is essential, as is the ability to adapt to varying demands and working hours.

The Central Teaching Laboratories (CTL) is a flagship facility at the University of Liverpool, designed to support innovative, high-quality science education. The CTL delivers large-scale undergraduate laboratory teaching across multiple disciplines, while also supporting postgraduate taught programmes, schools outreach activities, academic conferences, and public engagement events. This vibrant and collaborative environment brings together staff and students from across the Faculty of Science and Engineering, fostering interdisciplinary learning and ensuring an outstanding practical teaching experience.
