About the Role
P4 Recruitment is looking for experienced and compassionate Support Workers to provide temporary support within hostels across central Liverpool. You will deliver a high-quality, accommodation-based service for individuals with complex needs, including homelessness, mental health challenges, and substance misuse.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out risk assessments and develop effective risk management plans.
- Assess new clients for suitability and provide crisis support when needed.
- Advise on welfare benefits, housing, and homelessness legislation.
- Develop client-led support plans to help achieve short- and long-term goals.
- Make referrals and assist clients in accessing health, education, employment, and community services.
- Promote resident involvement and deliver one-to-one and group interventions.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, confidentiality, and data protection protocols.
- Maintain accurate records and support facility management, including safety checks and room inspections.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in support work, ideally within homelessness or social care settings.
- Knowledge of housing legislation, welfare benefits, and safeguarding.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally.
- Flexibility to work day or night shifts, including weekends.
