About this job:
- To escort patients within the Department chaperoning where necessary and be responsible for patient comfort and well-being.
- To assist in undressing and redressing of patients.
- To assist patients to use toilet facilities as appropriate.
- To assist patients on and off ultrasound table before and after procedures.
- To communicate effectively with patients by listening to their concerns, reassuring them by giving information and where appropriate eliciting and communicating information to other members of the Directorate team as appropriate.
- To collect, collate and file patient documentation as required.
- To input and retrieve patient information using the computerised radiology patient information system and the hospital information support system.
