Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Targeted Support: Delivering bespoke assistance to pupils individually or in small clusters.
  • Collaborative Planning: Partnering with teaching staff to execute tailored Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Classroom Culture: Helping to maintain a calm, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment through effective behaviour management.
  • Academic Tracking: Assisting with the creation of learning resources and monitoring student development.
  • Mentorship: Serving as a positive role model, guiding students as they reach their personal and academic milestones.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience: A minimum of six months working in a similar capacity within a UK educational setting.
  • Temperament: A calm, kind, and energetic nature suited to supporting young people with diverse needs.
  • Communication: The ability to liaise professionally and warmly with colleagues, students, and families.
  • Reliability: Top-tier organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Compliance: A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to undergo a new check.
