Job Summary

MONTY'S DINER, LIVERPOOL AIRPORT

Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour plus an extra £1.50 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6 AM, bringing your rate of pay to £15.25 per hour. Opportunity to earn extra tips and a service charge.

Shift Pattern

Full‑time, scheduled between 2 am to 11 pm. Working flexibly across weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays.

Role Overview

Join our team as a Restaurant Supervisor and step into the buzz of hospitality leadership at SSP. Work with iconic brands like Starbucks, M&S, Burger King and BrewDog in some of the busiest locations across the UK & Ireland.

Responsibilities

  • Lead your team, deliver great service, and be part of the energy.
  • Running and overseeing daily shifts.
  • Leading and supporting the front of house team during busy trading periods.
  • Completing stock counts and placing orders.
  • Ensuring compliance standards are completed, including date checks, allergen compliance and Health & Safety records.
  • Delivering excellent customer service and confidently handling customer queries.
  • Supporting operational standards, cleanliness and organisation throughout the diner.
  • Taking ownership of opening, closing and daily operations while solving problems on the go.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ leadership or supervisory experience required.
  • 5 years of references and Criminal Record Check required.
  • Confident dealing with customers and resolving issues professionally.
  • Comfortable leading and motivating a team in a busy environment.
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts and will be required to sell and handle alcohol.
