The Hope Centre is a 17‑bed inpatient ward specialising in detoxing patients from drugs and alcohol. The role will support nursing staff in the daily running of the ward by providing care and support to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Support nursing staff in the daily running of the ward by providing care and support to patients.
- Assist in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care for service users, including health‑care assessments under the direction and supervision of qualified members of staff.
- Assist in the facilitation of medical review clinics, under the direction of qualified members of staff.
- Contribute towards reports required by managers or external agencies, for example child‑care conferences or court reports.
- Work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team in a non‑judgemental way.
