This role offers the chance to gain hands-on experience in a professional nursery environment while working towards a Level 3 Early Years qualification. You will work 30–40 hours per week across 4–5 days, supporting the nursery team in delivering a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children.
Key Duties
- Provide positive adult interaction with children throughout the nursery day.
- Support the team in delivering high-quality care and learning experiences.
- Under supervision, assist with all aspects of childcare, including washing, changing, and feeding.
- Help meet the personal, social, and emotional needs of individual children.
- Assist with creating engaging and creative activities for children.
- Support colleagues to maintain a safe, welcoming, and stimulating nursery environment.
- Follow the nursery’s confidentiality and safeguarding policies at all times.
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive nursery team.
