JB Halal Superstore is looking for an IT Professional for a combined technical and management role. The selected candidate will be responsible for handling the store’s IT infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining systems and networks, and ensuring reliable digital operations, while also managing team coordination, improving workflow efficiency, and contributing to overall business management.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot the store’s IT infrastructure, including computers, POS system, barcode scanner, payment terminal, printer, and related hardware and software.
- Monitor and support the day‑to‑day operation of retail software, billing system, stock control system, and inventory management platform to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
- Contribute to the digital marketing strategy by managing the store’s social media presence, creating engaging content, updating website content, and collaborating on online promotions and campaigns aligned with sales objectives.
- Provide technical support to staff by resolving system issues promptly, advising on the proper use of IT equipment, and ensuring all digital tools are used effectively across the store.
- Maintain and oversee network connectivity, system performance, and CCTV surveillance systems to support safe, efficient, and reliable store operations.
- Assist with operational supervision of the grocery and butchery sections by supporting workflow efficiency, stock availability, team coordination, and the smooth integration of technology into daily retail activities.
