Primary Care 24 (PC24) is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-focussed healthcare services. We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Business Intelligence (BI) to lead our BI strategy and drive data-led decision-making across the organisation.
Salary: £60,001 - £70,000 per annum
Location: Wavertree, Liverpool
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
Contract: Permanent
What will you be doing
As Head of Business Intelligence, you will play a pivotal role in shaping PC24's future by leveraging data and intelligence to inform strategic decisions, improve operational performance, and identify growth opportunities. You will lead the development and delivery of a robust BI strategy, ensuring actionable insights are available to stakeholders at every level.
- Develop and implement a high-quality Business Intelligence strategy to support strategic planning and continuous improvement.
- Lead dynamic data collection, tailored analysis, and regular reporting on risks, opportunities, and market trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commissioners, suppliers and external partners to ensure access to relevant data sources.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for the Executive Team and Board.
- Commission analytical support and data management services where required.
- Develop and embed operational and strategic KPIs across the organisation, ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.
- Drive the Business Intelligence transformation plan, expanding automation and data warehouse capabilities.
- Ensure data integrity, quality, security and compliance with best practices in governance.
- Provide expert advice on statistical and analytical techniques and deliver training to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with analytical teams across the health economy to share best practices and innovation.
- Work closely with the Deputy Director of Strategy and Business Development to evaluate and present business development opportunities.
- Lead, mentor and develop the BI and analyst team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
What do I need?
We are looking for a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and a passion for data-driven decision-making.
- Masters level degree or equivalent relevant experience in data analysis.
- Experience of briefing intelligence findings to senior customers and understanding the role that intelligence plays in guiding strategic decision-making.
- An understanding of the application of intelligence methods to commercial challenges, assessing risk against business imperatives, and informing strategic decision-making.
- Experience with advanced analytics including data modelling, forecasting, visualisation and statistical techniques.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
